Carey joined the practice in 2008 after 4 years at a large downtown firm. Carey completed his undergraduate degree at McGill University, followed by a Masters in Management & Professional Accounting at the Rotman Faculty of the University of Toronto. Carey has diverse experience in accounting and audit assurance services. More than just a number-cruncher, Carey is a business advisor. He advises on all levels of personal, corporate and estate tax planning. Shortly after joining the firm, he made it into a technologically advanced, paperless environment. Carey's enthusiasm, responsiveness and delivery of first-class client service has attracted many of his acquaintances and friends to come on board as clients.

Part of Carey's practice includes helping non-resident artists and entertainers from all over the world with the filing of their Canadian corporate and personal tax returns.

When he's not hard at work, Carey can be found spending time with his wife and three boys, coaching hockey and baseball. Carey also volunteers at a homeless shelter soup kitchen.
