Originally from Hamilton, Sheldon completed his MBA at McMaster University, on the Dean's Honour List. Sheldon moved to Toronto in 1974 to work at a large downtown firm. He subsequently worked at a mid-sized firm, gaining small business and taxation experience. Today, Sheldon has over 30 years experience in providing financial and strategic business advisory services to entrepreneurial clients. Sheldon's practice consists of businesses in the service industry, doctors, lawyers, human resource consultants, various retailers in the apparel and hospitality industries, and religious institutions. Sheldon is very dedicated to providing his clients with timely service and expert tax advice.

Sheldon has authored many articles on income tax and tax-planning for owner-managed businesses which have appeared in local and national newspapers. He has also appeared on numerous television information programs dealing with taxation issues.

Away from the office, Sheldon enjoys various hobbies including golf, playing the drums and shopping trips to Buffalo.
